Dr. Sandy Zhang
Sandy has more than 20 years' experience holding General Manager and other senior positions in international consulting firms working with a broad range of clients, from top multinational and local companies to JVs, State-owned Enterprises, government, and consulting firms. Her business acumen and market knowledge in China lead to a keen understanding of the unique challenges in designing and facilitating learning solutions in the market. Among many other clients, Sandy has worked with BMW on cross cultural understanding since 2008 doing trainings. Since 2016, she has been leading a national-wide OD change management project (pharma company) and a restructuring program (Chinese mobile company). Before joining the consulting industry, she spent three years as project officer coordinating environmental projects with the World Bank and Asia Development Bank. She also worked for ABB (Shanghai) gaining first-hand experience in business operations. She has been an adjunct Professor of Shanghai Normal (Teacher) University since 2010, holds an MBA degree from Webster University & SUFE (Shanghai University of Finance & Economics) and is a member of the SUFE IMBA Alumni Council. She co-authored and published the book (Language: Mandarin) in 2013. She is the first master certification consultant of CPI (Culture Profile Indicator) in Asia and certified trainer of Clear Leadership. Currently, she is a Ph.D. candidate at Fielding Graduate University, California with a focus on Organizational Development and Change. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, reading, and arts in life.
